Relax in our comfortable lounge and bar with a drink and something from our extensive menu of home cooked food - the size of the portions of bar food have to be seen to be believed! Home-cooked means exactly what it says with our chef using locally produced fresh food whenever possible creating a specials blackboard offering a wide variety from mince and dumplings to venison or lobster.

The beautiful conservatory is a designated non-smoking area, once settled, it's difficult to even contemplate moving elsewhere. The view of the gardens, where the children are more than welcome to play, is lovely - a firm favourite with christening parties.

If you prefer to eat more formally, the restaurant, which overlooks the walled garden is an ideal choice. We offer a fixed price Table D'Hote menu which changes every month and there is great pride in each dish being prepared from the finest ingredients. Sunday lunch is an institution and early booking is advised

If you want a more private dinner or celebration, then our intimate dining room on the first floor is ideal. With seating for up to 20 people, it can be set as formal or informal as you wish and also has wonderful views of the the gardens.
