BOWBURN HALL HOTEL - CIVIL MARRIAGE & PARTNERSHIP CEREMONIES

Bowburn Hall Hotel is licensed for Civil Wedding Ceremonies and Partnerships enabling couples to take their vows in a lovely intimate wedding venue.

We set the scene with a red carpet entrance for the Wedding Party, the ceremony is conducted over a desk by the Registrars and we decorate the room with 2 floral pedestals and a table arrangement (colours of your choice) these can then be used to dress the wedding reception.

The Ballroom at Bowburn Hall Hotel is licensed for Civil Marriages, Partnerships and Baby Naming Ceremonies for up to 120 persons, to book the charge is £250.00 this includes 2 floral pedestals and a table arrangement.

Once you have made your provisional wedding booking for wedding ceremony and reception you should contact Durham Registry Office on 0191 386 4077 to make a booking with the Superintendent Registrar.

It is essential that the Wedding date and time be agreed with the Registry Office. All details of charges relating to the solemnisation of marriages will be discussed with the Superintendent Registrar. Bowburn Hall Hotel will accept no responsibility for the organisation of the service. Only a civil, non religious ceremony can be permitted by the Superintendent Registrar. Any readings, music or words, which form part of the Ceremony, must be secular. No food or Drink may be consumed in the Ballroom prior to or during the Ceremony.

We use the delightful Conservatory as a welcome area for your guests and for reception drinks afterwards. On a fine day the gardens are to be enjoyed by all while the happy couple have photographs taken, during this time Craig and his staff change the room around for the wedding breakfast. Following on from reception drinks and photographs you return to the Ballroom which unseen has been transformed for your Wedding Breakfast.
